UPDATE: 05/13/2020
The Town Highway Dept. has returned to work as of May 4, 2020. Safety guidelines have been put in place and will be followed to maintain compliance with executive orders and to maintain the safety of our employees and residents. Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during these difficult times.
Tax Collection Period ended as of April 30, 2020. Any unpaid taxes have been returned to Madison County Treasurer's Office for collection. Please contact them at 315-366-2371 for payment information.
The Town Clerk's Office and the Court Office remain closed to the public. The drop box near the court entrance on Main St, email and US mail may continue to be used for handling dog licences, building permits, Court documents, fines, etc.

Please note that all Town of Brookfield buildings and offices are closed to the public and all Town Committee meetings are hereby cancelled UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE as we strive to protect our community and keep our residents safe and healthy during this difficult time. Local officials will reassess the period of closure on a weekly basis.
Property Tax Payments, Dog Licenses, Building Permit Applications, Court documents and fines, etc. may be mailed OR dropped in the secure drop box located to the left of the Town Court entrance. Receipts/Responses will be mailed.

UPDATE: 03/19/2020 - In our continued effort to maintain the safety of our community members, ALL Town Committee meetings are hereby suspended until further notice.

Brookfield Town Offices, Town Court and Highway Dept. will be closed to the public effective March 16, 2020 to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
The Highway Dept. will continue to provide snow removal services and emergency services as needed during this time. The Highway Dept. will resume normal operations on Monday, March 30, 2020 unless otherwise directed.
Court Fines, Property Tax Payments, dog licenses, etc. may be mailed or dropped off in the drop box located to the left of the Town Court entrance during this time. A receipt will be mailed.
The Town Clerk's Office will resume normal operations on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 unless otherwise directed.
The Town Court will remain closed until otherwise directed by the Unified Court System.
