History of the Brookfield Comprehensive Plan
This is a plan; it is not a local law; it is not a state law; it is a community supported guide as to how we wish to see the Town develop in the future. We realize the world changes, quickly and in unimaginable ways; therefore, this cannot be a static, unchanging plan and is subject to
interpretation and amendment by the appropriate government and legal authorities in order to take into consideration these factors.
A joint meeting was held between the Comprehensive Planning Committee and the Town Board on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 7 PM to complete revisions to the DRAFT Comprehensive Plan and 2 public hearings were held in August 2013. On January 13, 2014 the Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Town Board.
